My Design

It’s fun to take lines for a walk! After turning a few corners they become all sorts of shapes. Add a dash of color and they develop into the most fascinating designs.

This time, I added textured paper to the mix and let my pencil take the lines over rougher terrain.

Forgotten

Oddly, when it was completed, it still seemed curiously incomplete. So I put it aside in my portfolio where it waited patiently. Every so often I would take it out, study it for a few minutes and then put it back.

His Divine Design

One day, as I was rummaging around, it caught my eye. This time when I took it out I saw an empty womb waiting for a child.

Once I added the unborn child, it was still not totally finished. The words from Jeremiah 1:5 came to mind. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…”  So I added the dove hovering in the background. My serendipitous abstract design had become a drawing of God’s divine design that is evident in each one of us!
